The ‘OnRamp’ network legacy source network adaptor for Boston Acoustics was created as a bridge-means allowing customers to bring their legacy components into the realm of networked audio so that even one’s favorite oldies could be streamed. The design of the surface-mounted OnRamp keeps the component tucked back on its shelf instead of being bumped forward by the connections and perhaps going over the edge!
The OnRamp was one component in a range of components created for Boston Acoustics foray into bit-faithful audio networking.
