Product design for hi-end DVD player wins prestigious annual award competition from Consumer Electronics industry |

IL) - Control Alt Design, an innovative product development firm, today announced that it has received the prestigious Innovations 2002 Design and Engineering Honoree Award from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) in the Video category, for it's design of the Halo Series D1, an ultra high performance DVD and DVD Audio all-format disc player for Parasound Products.
The Innovations 2002 is CEA's prestigious competition honoring product excellence in the latest designs and engineering in consumer electronics.
A preeminent panel of 30 prominent industry experts judged entries in the Innovations 2002 Design & Engineering awards program. Product evaluations were based on the following weighted criteria: value to user, aesthetics, and contributions to the quality of life as well as the product's innovative qualities.
