Parasound Products wanted to design a premium brand of high-end audio and video components that would be a performance and design-conscious step up from the company's traditional product line. The Halo line of ultra-high performance components share many enhancements:
The curvilinear front panel, in extruded, brushed aluminum, catches ambient light and emphasizes the primary controls. The blue LED "halo" button controls visually invite play and prompt the user. The front panel control buttons are illuminated and glow brighter when they are pressed. It features a vacuum fluorescent display, defeatable bass and treble controls, and it’s CNC-machined knob is a precision electronic volume control with custom brass bushings for longevity. The front panel also has a high-resolution stereo headphone connection and an illuminated power switch. Molded end caps resolve the control recess, eliminating the typical "sawed off" extrusion look. The end caps function as rack mount handles and can also be replaced by traditional rack mount handles.
